ArcelorMittal's electrical steels team at Coiltech Germany 2026

ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products was present at Coiltech Germany 2026, taking place in Augsburg on 25 - 26 March.

It was the perfect opportunity for you to come and meet our team in Hall 3, Booth C18 and to discover how ArcelorMittal is shaping the future of electrical steels for e-mobility and industrial applications.

“There is much to discuss regarding the innovations shaping the electrical steels market, particularly our advanced offerings in non-grain-oriented electrical steels. We invite you to visit us and learn more”, explains Cristina de Lucas, CMO Electrical Steel and Automotive Sales Director, ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products.

Five reasons to have visited our stand:

1. We are the only European steelmaker with 2 production plants and 2 finishing plants for electrical steels.

“This enables us to develop one global offer of more advanced electrical steels grades for our customers,” says Charlotte Daugu, Sales Director Electrical Steels, ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products.

2. You can explore our next-generation electrical steels, including upgraded high polarisation grades and advanced coating solutions such as self-bonding varnish (SBV), coatings for welding assembly, coating for dot glue bonding assembly and temperature-resistant coating for stress relief annealing.

“We are fully committed to our customer satisfaction and long-term success. Our teams deliver best-in-class support and work as true partners to help them achieve their goals. We even go beyond support by providing innovative, proactive solutions that anticipate their needs and keep them ahead in a changing market,” says Eric Vasseur, Technical & Service Director Electrical Steels, ArcelorMIttal Europe - Flat Products.

3. Discover everything about our latest iCARe® 420 Save grades, designed for e-traction applications, offering ultra-low magnetic loss and high strength – now extending down to 0.2 mm gauge.

4. Find out about our sustainability-driven solutions, including XCarb® steel certificates to help our customers to reduce Scope 3 emissions and support their decarbonisation goals.

5. These innovations are all powered by ArcelorMittal’s largest investment in Europe in the past decade. This strategic investment reinforces our commitment to innovation and sustainability as we progress towards net zero by 2050 and is strongly supporting the ongoing energy transition.

“Our aim is to increase our speed, efficiency, responsiveness and quality, and ultimately deliver the best value offering in the market,” concludes Olivier Gervais, Head of Segment, Electrical Steels.
